KeymasterThe pandemic changed the way we live, work, and connect with others — and dating was no exception.
For a while, meeting new people became more complicated. Social distancing, lockdowns, and safety concerns made traditional dating almost impossible. Many people simply paused dating altogether.
So I’m curious — has Covid changed your dating life in any way?

MemberI think Covid made me value emotional connection more than before.
When everything slowed down, I realized that just casual dating wasn’t really fulfilling for me. Now I’m more focused on finding something meaningful rather than just meeting people for the sake of it. -

MemberFor me, Covid reveal many things on my dating life but also social life. I discover some bad patterns in my relationship, so now i act on it. Also i appreciate simple things more — like just going out for a coffee date

MemberI feel like it changed people’s expectations.
Some people now want deeper connections, while others just want to enjoy life more after that period. It’s like dating became more unpredictable. I think this is due to some people getting back their habits or trying to shake the extra nerves coming from the pandemic. At the end, we can’t use that as a excuse, it’s getting old.

InactiveCovid completely changed the pace of dating for me. Before that, everything felt very fast — meeting quickly, going out often, and not really taking the time to build a deeper connection.
During lockdowns, that wasn’t really possible anymore, so I ended up having longer conversations with people before even thinking about meeting. In a way, it made dating more intentional. You had to actually talk and get to know someone instead of relying on physical attraction or quick impressions.
Now, even after things went back to normal, I still prefer that slower approach. I feel like it leads to better connections.

MemberFor me, the biggest shift was emotional.
Covid made me realize how important it is to have someone you can rely on during difficult times. It changed my priorities from just having fun to actually wanting a meaningful connection.
Dating now feels less like a game and more like something that should add real value to your life.

MemberI think Covid made people more selective.
Before, it felt like people were more open to casual dating, but during the pandemic, meeting someone involved more effort and sometimes even risk. Because of that, I noticed people became more intentional about who they chose to meet.
Even now, I feel like that mindset is still there to some extent.
