Dating in New York City has been exciting, but also a bit overwhelming at times. There’s always something happening, and you’re constantly meeting new people, which is great in theory. But in reality, it can feel like no one really slows down enough to build something meaningful.

I’ve noticed that people often juggle multiple conversations or dates at once, which can make it hard to know where you stand. At the same time, I’ve had some really interesting dates here — people are ambitious, diverse, and full of stories.

 

I think dating in NYC works best if you stay grounded and don’t get caught up in the fast pace too much.
